The Murgitroyd Foundation are delighted to support the raffle prize in the upcoming Glasgow Marrow and Anthony Nolan donor recruitment on Wednesday 8th September 2021.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a drop in people registering as a potential stem cell donor and Anthony Nolan need to recruit more potential lifesavers to their register. If you’re aged 16–30 and in good health, you can apply to be a lifesaver.
Glasgow Marrow are the student run branch of Anthony Nolan. They recruit donors onto the stem cell register to save the lives of people with blood cancer.
Donor recruitment drives are a fantastic opportunity for people to learn more about bone marrow donation and the reasons it’s needed. Making it a fun and accessible event makes the process less daunting, and allows folks to really understand the good that their donation can do.
This event will be held on Wednesday the 8th September at Pro Soccer Rouken Glen from 6pm until late. Each person who joins to Anthony Nolan marrow donation register will be entered into a raffle to win a free pitch!
